Please note: this winter term, there'll be no business ethics course due to decisions in FB4. Waiting for further decisions I wish all students who want to dig into business ethics an inspirig and blessed winter term. Feel free to send emails and ask questions.
Before long, you'll find minutes, handouts, etc. here.
Many people are familiar with „The Little Prince“ by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. It is, of course, an inspiring narration on how the world can be looked at. What do you think? Could the Little Prince also contribute to Business Ethics? From chapter X to XII, the little prince is visiting some „planets“. Chapter XIII depicts the little prince's encounter and dialogue with a business man. As you read this text what kind of stimuli for a concept of business comes to your mind? I'd be interested in your opinion.
A friend of yours got a job as a bartender in the student bar at your university. After a while, you recognize that he is no longer enjoying his job since he feels mistreated by his boss. One night, when you had to settle the bill for three drinks, he discretetely only charged you for one. When you argued that this is not right in your view he just laughed it off and said, "Yeah, it's great, isn't it? They'll never notice and you get a cheap night out. Besides, it's only what this place deserves after the way I've been treated."
